Construction Inspectors

  • At least (4) four years of experience in the inspection of engineering construction work including road, bridge, drain, aviation, sewer, traffic signal, water, and utility service projects

  • Working knowledge of the Cal/OSHA Construction Safety Orders.

  • Ability to interpret plans, specifications, special provisions and other contract documents.

  • Ability to independently identify potential problems and propose solutions.

  • Ability to enforce temporary traffic controls per approved traffic control plans, lane requirements or California MUTCD, Chapter 6.

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and oversight.

 

Construction Manager / Superintendent

  • Fifteen (15) years full time paid professional experience in Construction and/or a combination of Project and Construction Management of Commercial and/or Public/Educational Facility Construction. Five (5) of the fifteen (15) years should have full responsibility for coordinating complex projects with construction values in excess of $20M

  • 5 years' experience in managing projects for educational institution or public agency

 

Project Managers - Levels I thru V 

  • We have several openings for varying levels of Project Managers that are needed on the BuildLACCD program, our existing client

  • The lower level PM I position requires only 3 years of relevant experience, the others require more…5, 7, 10 and 15 years for the PM V level

 

Program Scheduler

  • 8 years full time paid professional experience in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably working on multiple educational facilities or public works projects

  • Proficiency in Primavera 15.1 or above and MS Office Suite

  • Experience with projects using Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods

  • Graduation from recognized college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, engineering or Construction Manager

OR

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor's degree in any course but with additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for the required education
